Meet EC Johnson
Overseer of Newness Ministries
EC Johnson is the overseer of Newness Ministries, carrying a passionate commitment to boldly teach and declare God’s Word of Truth. With a heart to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ, EC is dedicated to leading others into a real, life-changing relationship with Him.
As a servant-leader with a deep love for people and a strong foundation in Christian counseling, EC brings both spiritual insight and academic training to the mission. EC holds an Associate of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus on Christian Counseling and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling, scheduled for completion in April 2026. This continued education is part of a calling to minister to the whole person—spirit, soul, and mind.
At Newness Ministries, the belief is simple but powerful: we are called to walk by faith—not by sight—and to live fully in the new life that Christ offers. EC's mission is to reach the lost, teach the truth, and help people grow as true disciples of Jesus. This is not just a ministry—it is a movement of transformation, hope, and purpose. That is why Newness Ministries stands firmly on the words of Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20: “Jesus came up and said to them, ‘All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.’”
